Notes

Setsubon menu. Ehomaki (lucky direction sushi roll). We were the only two people in the restaurant. Ultimately fine, but at $400+/pp with pairing, underwhelming. $185 without pairing, I still think that's rich. Probably closer to a $100 meal. Menu: Deep fried house made Sesame Tofu with sea urchin, wasabi, dashi sauce Braised soybean and Seaweed with Creamy Tofu Sauce Grilled Seasonal Fish, Braised Duck Breast, Pickled Mackerel Sushi Monk Fish Liver with Turnip Puree Soup Deep fried fish fillet, chrysanthemum leaf puree, yuzu peel, micro greens Toro "Namero" Monaka Bluefin tuna toro, Ikura, Takuan, green onion, ginger, monaka sheel A5 Wagyu Beef, Maitake Mushroom, Egg Yolk Sauce Dry Aged Bluefin Tuna Nigiri Eho-Maki Sushi Roll Braised Wagyu, Negi-Toro, King Crab, Ikura, Egg Omelet, Shiitake Mushroom, Cucumber Japanese Angel Hair Noodle Snow crab, Shimeji Mushroom, Green Onion, Egg, Ginger Matcha Tiramisu, Sweet Red Bean Paste, Raspberry and Ruby Chocolate Ice Cream
